Here's how to reset your password and regain access to your account.

The easiest way to reset your password is with your phone or another trusted device — one you're already signed in to with your username and email so that we know it's yours. Later models, resetting your password on the web is the quickest way to regain access to your account.

It would help if you had a passcode (or password on a trusted device) set up on your device.
